To take the best out of the CV1 Cosmetic Vacuum it is important to maintain regulary replacement of the filter. 

How often do you need to change filters depends on the amount and intensity of usage. Usually, it is safe to say between 4 to 6 months.

All of our top filters are made from the same material and produced to the same thickness as the original filter that comes with the machine. During shipping, some filters may get compressed, which can make them look thinner. 

The purpose of the top filter is to stop dust from reaching the second filter, and the thickness does not affect its function.
